Synopsis

Christmas

A young father asks for pumpkins at the local farm stand. "In August? No." the farmer replies. The farmer ruminates on the odd request and gets involved with strangers for the first time since his son's death long ago.

oh my this was so sweet. the storyline was so emotional and ugh it had me wanting to cry like a million times while watching it. this movie also has such an incredible stacked cast with some of the best actors. it was fantastic and made the movie so much more enjoyable. i also loved the setting of this movie with all the beautiful landscape. i want to live in their little town so bad. it sort of reminded me of stars hollow in gilmore girls except this town was more out in the country. so homey and safe.

but fyi, sam elliott didn’t play the grandpa in this movie but what i would give for him to be MY…

November Christmas pulls on my emotional heart strings like a violin.
I watched this on TV on a random movie channel and I have been wanting to watch it again for a while so much I found the film on Bluray from eBay a German import I believe that's how much I wanted to rewatch it.
The title on the German copy is Weihnachten des Herzens so there you go.
Got a couple of recognisable faces starring Sam Elliott (Road House) and Karen Allen(Raiders of the Lost Ark,Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull)
The plot is pretty simple a young girl has cancer so her parents decided to bring Halloween and Christmas up so she can celebrate…

November Christmas is a touching movie for all seasons.

I tried not to cry, due to the storyline, but this film was so very lovely.
I hope it is a favourite for all this Christmas.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

a movie that is mostly about halloween in august, i sh*t you not

sam elliott and sarah paulson elevate this to more than just your typical hallmark "christmas" (allegedly!) movie and it certainly tugs at the heartstrings effectively by the end. i have thankfully never had to deal with child cancer in any area of my life but i could see this movie absolutely ruining someone who has - but in a very heartwarming sort of way, with tears both of great sadness and overwhelming joy. it's a very touching film

now. this is probably the part of the review that will get me canceled but i have to bring it up: this movie would have worked better if the kid actually died. there, i said it

Here for Sam. Movie was very cute!

High quality cinema considering it comes from Hallmark.

My first Christmas Hallmark movie, November Christmas is not a Christmas movie, really, despite having Christmas in the title and the Letterboxd tagline being “Christmas”.

It’s about a child with cancer.

A heavy way to start and besides that it has two pretty powerful performances, Sam Elliott & Sarah Paulson are not just acting like they are in a Hallmark movie. They are acting-acting.

Very sentimental kind of movie, of course, as the parents shift the holidays up the schedule to account for their child’s sickness. First Hallmark and they’ve already found my weakness.

I have truly needed to watch something comforting after everything that I have been going through the past few weeks. It’s been really difficult not gonna lie. Mostly because of my mental health struggles and not just that but had 5 friend breakups BACK to BACK. I honestly hate how many of the friends I had that aren’t in my life anymore judge me for battling mental health or accuse me of things I didn’t even do or even blame me. Not just that but even make fun of me for who and what I love.
There’s this quote I read online “you can’t be friends with those who broke your heart, took advantage of your kindness, and forgiveness. They…

YouTube review of November Christmas... www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4-E8usBzlE

    62/100

If you're interested in checking out a Hallmark Channel drama intending to tug at the heartstrings, then November Christmas is for you.

A touching story about how a community bands together to give a sick child early holidays (such as Christmas and Halloween) when there's an uncertainty on whether she'll make it or not. The film is bolstered with great celebrity talents (a little more than usual as this is Hallmark we're talking about) as it stars people like Sam Elliot, Sarah Paulson, Karen Allen and others. The fact that you got Sam Elliot in a Hallmark movie and still brings his A-game even in a made-for-TV movie has to be greatly commended.…

This movie is beautiful and heartbreaking. I watch this movie every time it comes on. I cry every time... in sadness and in joy.

John Corbett, Sarah Paulson and Sam Elliot were excellent in this movie playing the adults rallied around a young girl fighting for her life. Emily Lind did a fantastic job playing a young girl battling a devastating illness while maintaining her hold on love, joy and hope.

Is it ur basic, predictable cancer movie? Yes it is. Do I care? No.
Still succeeds in making me cry every time I watch it
