Hobart Graham Shrewsbury, Jr. 1934 — 2024 Hobart Graham Shrewsbury Jr., (89), of St Albans, WV, went to be with the Lord June 17, 2024, after a short illness. Graham was born on October 16, 1934, in Charleston, WV. After graduating from St Albans High School, he went on to study Engineering at West Virginia Tech, then enlisted in the Army where he served in the field artillery. After serving his country, he finished his studies to become a Certified Civil Professional Engineer and worked for various engineering firms in the Kanawha Valley. He was also a real estate develop and was responsible for the creation of the Shrewsbury Heights subdivision in St Albans. He is survived by the love of his life, Lois, his daughter Jonie... Born in South Charleston, to the late Marvin Earl and Grace Irene Happel Lore. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Stanley McCormick; sister, Francis Skaggs; brothers, Marvin and Radford Lore. Carolyn was a teacher at Central Elementary and former Hansford Elementary. She graduated from West Virginia State University and Marshall University, a member of First Baptist Church, St. Albans and enjoyed traveling. She was born January 1, 1963 in Charleston, daughter of the late Charles Whittington and Patsy Canterberry. She was the roots to her family and raised many children. She didn't know a stranger and was the sparkle in many lives. She never complained even throughout all of her illness and will be remembered as a strong and wise lady. She was born July 26, 1962, in Waverly, Ohio to Noal Gene and Joyce Marlena Wines, who have preceded her in death. Tami was raised in Parkersburg, West Virginia and is a graduate of Parkersburg South High School (1980). She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia University and worked for many years at Charleston Area Medical Center as both a pharmacy technician and program analyst and with Siemens as a program analyst. Dick was born on August 26, 1932, to Leon Alexander Harrah and Lorena Dawson Harrah in Charleston, WV. He was the oldest of three boys, gaining the late Rita Pinson Harrah as his loving step-mother during adolescence.
